Clergy Development and the Nazarene Women Clergy Council (NWCC), on behalf of the Church of the Nazarene, want to invite you to the upcoming Come to the Water Wesleyan/Holiness Women Clergy conference being held April 10-13, 2008, in Nashville, Tenn.

NWCC anticipates the conference to be a productive and encouraging for Nazarene women clergy. The council has been working to bring you opportunities to expand your ministry skills and connections with other Nazarene women clergy and church leaders.

A denominational meeting time has been set aside on Friday, April 11 from 1:30 – 4:00.  We will begin with a time of networking, where we will be able to break into small groups.  Following the networking we will have a presentation of NWCC and the nine initiatives developed by the council. The NWCC will also be asking for your input as we move forward with the initiatives.  Finally, we will close out the afternoon with a time of worship and communion.

District superintendents have been invited to join us for the denominational meeting and a dessert reception following the Friday evening service (approximately 9:00pm). Bring along business cards with your contact information, as you will have an opportunity to meet district superintendents and fellow Nazarene clergy. General superintendent Dr. Nina Gunter will also be attending the evening service and dessert reception.

We encourage you to bring a copy of your resume for a binder which will be located at the Clergy Development exhibit. After the conference, Clergy Development will compile these resumes and send them to each district superintendent in USA/Canada for a one-time mailing. At anytime you can submit resumes or search for ministry positions by accessing the Clergy Development Nazarene Job Board at http://jobs.nazarene.org. This new user-friendly system allows both employers and candidates easy access to posted jobs and resumes.
